From December 2018 to May 2019, the Hytale team posted weekly articles showcasing different aspects of the game. These blog posts were released on Fridays as, according to Aaron Donaghey, the Hytale team got distracted by fan content that the posts generated, and this distraction would negatively impact development of the game during weekdays.[1] From July 2019, after an almost three-month hiatus, the release of blog posts slowed down from weekly to monthly (with a gap in September and October 2019), with a tendency to the end of the month during 2020. From September 2020, the release of blog posts will slow down further.[2]
