The Wood Torch is a type of Block in Hytale. It is under the Lighting Category.
Overview[]
The Wooden Torch is a light source that is made of a wooden stick with a rag attached to the top, from which the fire emanates. This block can be placed on both vertical and horizontal surfaces to provide an area with light. The Wood Torch will also produce light when in a players' hand. Torches may be turned on and off.
Wood Torches can also be used to frighten Fen Stalkers, making them an effective tool for traversing swamps at night.
