A Scarak Warrior is an archetype of the Scarak race in Hytale. They are the most common variant of Scarak.

Overview

Scarak warriors, like all Scarak archetypes, evolve from a Scarak Larva. They serve as simple guards to Scarak hives, patrolling any of the multiple Scarak structures, defending them from intruders and vandals. Not much else is known about them.

Behavior

These Scaraks can be found working in junction with the larva and the locusts, scouring every level of the hive. They appear to engage in melee combat with enemies, using their front legs as weapons. They also rely on their hard carapace and strength of numbers to take down enemies. It appears that their wings are mainly aesthetic, as there is no feasible way they could lift a creature of that size. This suggests they can not achieve flight (or at least, sustained periods of flight) like their locust brethren.
