An Outlander Ranger is one of the archetypes of the Outlander faction in Hytale.
Overview[]
Rangers are responsible for the gathering of food and the protection of Outlander settlements.[1] They wear simple leather clothing, including a mask with small protruding horns, similar to the Bison that they hunt. They also drape themselves in black, fur-like robes.
Behavior[]
These Outlanders can be seen as a dangerous threat, thanks to both their long range bows and hiding techniques. While wandering through the forests of Zone 3, a Player could be ambushed and quickly taken out, without fully realizing their attacker's location.
Interactions[]
The Ranger will hunt Bison and other animals for an unknown purpose, whether it be nourishment, recreation or some other, ritualistic purpose.[1]
