The Hypixel Network is a Minecraft server ran byHypixel Inc , it was first opened on the 13th of April, 2013.

After Hypixel and Rezzus made multiple YouTube videos about their maps, they decided to make their own server showcasing the survival maps as well as making some of them (Such as the Walls) into their own minigames. The Hypixel Server has since become the worlds most popular Minecraft network, and has already achieved over 4 Guinness World Records.
Having 70,000 players at the same time, over 200 volunteer staff, and nearly 6 million unique logins, Hypixel is the largest server Minecraft has ever seen.

April 13th 2013 - Hypixel Network is Opened
December 16th 2013 - MVP and MVP+ ranks are released
August 1st 2014 - Minecraft's EULA change drops and Hypixel removes any pay to win features.
January 29th 2016 - Hypixel's revolutionary AntiCheat Watchdog is released
December 18th 2017 - MVP++ rank is released
